How to Apply
Interested in living at Le Coeur? We would love to meet you! Applications for co-op membership can only be obtained by attending an orientation session. The orientation session will cover the organization, policies, and expectations of our co-op and will provide details on current housing charges and availability. All adult members of the family applying for membership must attend the orientation session.
Our last scheduled orientation session was November 4, 2021. Please keep checking our website for future orientations. We strive to hold an orientation every 18-24 months.
Please note: All adult members wishing to reside in a unit here must attend an orientation. You must stay until the end of the orientation in order to receive an application. Please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
What to expect when you apply:
We want to know about you! Make sure you include as much detail as possible when completing your application so that we can determine if you are the right fit for our community.
Please ensure that you contact our office in writing (preferably via email or contact form on this website) if your address, phone number, or household size changes. We also require you to update your application status once a year to ensure we keep an accurate applicant list. If we don’t hear from you after a year, you will be removed from the application list.
Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted and invited to an interview. The interview will allow us to learn more about you and will allow you to learn more about Le Coeur, ask any questions you may have, and possibly view a unit.
Wait times for units depend on need, suitability, timing and availability. Applicants can expect to wait anywhere from a few months to a few years for a unit. Please also note that all incoming units are filled according to the National Occupancy Standard and will be non-smoking units.
